Estimate Properties - Alternate Parts Tab Screen

Use this screen to view the alternate parts information used in the estimate. These options are set up in your repair facility profile in the Estimate Rules section.

Description of fields in the Part Type General screen

Field Label Description
Part Type - General Selecting this droplist option displays selection precedence and zip code range search.
Selection Precedence (pane) This pane indicates the order of selection precedence for alternate parts.
Starting Zip Code

This is the beginning zip code for alternate parts search.

Ending Zip Code This is the ending zip code for alternate parts search.
OK Select this to save the information and close the screen.
Cancel This option closes the screen without saving.

Description of fields in the Part Type ARO (Aftermarket, Reconditioned, and Optional OEM screen

Field Label Description
Part Type - ARO (Aftermarket, Reconditioned, and Optional OEM) Selecting this droplist option displays selection method, terminology, and part panel options. To edit fields in this screen, select your repair facility profile, and the select Estimating > Rules > Alternate Parts > Part Type = ARO (Aftermarket, Reconditioned, and Optional OEM).
Selection Method (Aftermarket) Manually List will require you to open the database manually during the estimating when you want to see if Aftermarket parts are available.

Automatically List will cause the program to display available Aftermarket parts as soon as they are detected.

Automatically Select tells the program to highlight the available Aftermarket Part and to insert it into your estimate. Aftermarket - Price Selection.
Price Selection (Aftermarket) The default value is Average. Average tells the program to select the part with a price close to the average of all part prices. Lowest tells the program to select the part with the lowest price.
Terminology (Aftermarket) This option determines the terminology by which Aftermarket parts will be identified on the estimate and reports. The program defaults this field to A/M. Valid values include A/M, Qual Repl Parts, and Comp Repl Parts.
Selection Method (Optional OEM) Manually List will require you to open the database manually during the estimating when you want to see if Optional OEM parts are available.

Automatically List will cause the program to display available Optional OEM parts as soon as they are detected.

Automatically Select tells the program to highlight the available Optional OEM Part and to insert it into your estimate.
Terminology (Optional OEM) This field determines the terminology by which Optional OEM parts will be identified on the estimate and reports. The program defaults this field to Opt OEM. The valid values are Opt OEM, and Alt OEM.
Selection Method ( Reconditioned) Manually List will require you to open the database manually during the estimating when you want to see if Reconditioned parts are available.

Automatically List will cause the program to display available Reconditioned parts as soon as they are detected.

Automatically Select tells the program to highlight the available Reconditioned OEM Part and to insert it into your estimate.
Aftermarket Selection Criteria (pane) This section displays which Aftermarket parts will be displayed. The program defaults these fields to Show All. Other values include Show CAPA Only, Show All, and Show None.
OK Select this to save the information and close the screen.
Cancel This option closes the screen without saving.

Description of fields in the Part Type Recycled screen

Field Label Description
Part Type - Recycled This option displays the defaults for the program to use when processing Recycled parts.
Automatically Display for Vehicles That Are ___ Year(s) or Older This value indicates the age of the vehicle as a cutoff before CCC ONE automatically displays Recycled parts. The program defaults this field to 1.
Groups This option determines which groups to include in the list of LKQ parts that are automatically displayed. The program defaults to the first item in the list. Select a group from this list. As you select a group, all the parts included in that group are inserted into the Parts Included In Auto Listing box.
OK Select this to save the information and close the screen.
Cancel This option closes the screen without saving.
